The purpose of this study is to analyze how “Sim Cheong ga” was accepted in Korean opera. For the purpose of this study, the traditionality of Pansori was examined, and the characteristics and significance of “Sim Cheong ga” in Korean operas were examined, focusing on “Sim Tjong” by Isang Yun, “Sim Cheong Jeon” by Dong-Jin Kim and “Chŏng” by Yong-Tak Lee. The results of this study are summarized as follows.First, “Sim Cheong ga” was accepted as an opera with a typical form of musical drama in Korean Opera. For the details, I analyzed “Sim Tjong” by Isang Yun, “Sim Cheong Jeon” by Dong-Jin Kim and “Chŏng” by Yong-Tak Lee in the musical drama forms of “Sim Cheong-ga”. Yun accepted into an independent acoustic world which is all the notes has own attribution, Kim accepted the form of Western music based on the 'New Changak' of Korean Velcanto creation, and Lee accepted “Sim Cheong ga” in Pansori forms and rhythm.Second, “Sim Cheong ga” was accepted in the three operas in terms of creator and audience. For the creator, Pansori is accepted aspects of the role of Korean sound, and for the audience, Pansori's traditionality is an element that directly affects the public realization. Third, “Sim Cheong ga” was accepted among the three works. The specific details are categorized as Korean Language, orchestra and space in opera. Yun is narratively accepted the “Sim Cheong ga”, Kim is actively accepted ‘Pansori’ in General, and Lee is significantly accepted in delivering the most Korean as a music language. Next, the characteristics of the orchestra are the meaning of Yun's 'Klangflache' which is the expression of Korean sounds through western musical instruments and dance music by Kim, and the harmonization of Korean and Western musical instruments by Lee. As the final feature, the feature of reproducing the three spaces of Heaven, Earth, and Water in “Shim Cheong ga”, Yun accepts through the clear division of all spaces, and Kim accepts the space of the Water through 'Simbongsa's Dream'. Lee expressed the characteristics of the space symbolically by ‘Do-Chang’ and formally through the ‘Sori-kkun’ who both received ‘Pansori’ directly. He expresses the celestial symbolically, and expresses the characteristic significance of the acceptance of space by ‘Funeral Ceremony’. In addition, he shows the characteristic significance of the space with the gestures of dancer and sound of ‘Haegeum’ solo to reproduce the Water space.“Sim Cheong ga” was accepted in three operas. Pansori's unique music style, the comical and non-polar, was supported, and the typicality of pansori was accepted in opera. Opera maintained the traditional form of the genre all over the world, showed the characteristics and convergence of the medium and modern transformation, and formed a consensus among the audience. In this typicality created through repeated changes in new media and forms, we have found a common phenomenon. ‘Pansori’ is not just a simple interaction with the media. This will have success and value as a performance text when the reproducibility of language, symbolic, spatial, and mutual media as an opera is fulfilled.
