Infancy is the potential period that one's intellectual development accelerates, and musicality develops abundantly. In this period, a infant understands music by playing musical instruments and expressing one's emotion freely and honestly. Infants can improve concentration and patience, and develop the musical potential through the musical activity. Furthermore, playing musical instruments helps infants to grow up as a emotionally-stable human being. Conclusion of this paper, which offers effective violin lessons for infants is as follows. First, it is important for teachers to figure out infants's musical aptitudes and environmental factors before planning and executing lessons. Even though they are in the same environment, the effect depends upon which phase that the musical environment belong to. Therefore, it is critical to support good quality and quantity of musical environments especially in infancy from the stages of development in order to enhance infants's musical ability. Second, it is more effective for infants to take group lessons than individual lessons. Even infants who are not interested in the violin or have difficulty in music lessons find the pleasure in music and learn to enjoy it by taking lessons with their friends and mingling with them in a group. Additionally, the infants acquire to compare themselves with their peers, and correct their own postures and sounds, even learn to have a strong community spirit and sociality in the process of playing together in a groupwithout teachers' help. Third, perceptual development in musical learning as Marilyn Zimmerman can be applied usefully to teach infants musical elements in a violin lesson. According to him, perception of loudness develops first, followed by pitch and rhythm, with perception of harmony developing last. Based of this, therefore, teaching infants how to play the violin considering their scales and individual differences should satisfy their musical desires, and arrange their foundation for better life. Programs for infants learning to play musical instrument should be more specific than those for juveniles. Infants, are apt to acquire everything they learn. Therefore, violin lesson for infants is positive when supporting infants with careful guidance and concern based on theory and experience considering their infancy characteristics.
