The objective of this study was to understand the perception and satisfaction of smart learning targeting the middle school students participating in class with smart learning method, and also to understand the effects of perception and satisfaction of smart learning on their learning attitude and improvement of grades. This study aimed to contribute to the increase of effectiveness of smart learning by judging the developmental possibility of smart learning and also seeking for the measures for improving the learning attitude and grades of middle school students. To achieve this objective, this study considered the preceding researches related to smart learning, and then performed the literature research to review the books and literature related to pedagogy in order to establish the theoretical basis related to learning attitude and improvement of grades. On top of drawing a research model based on the literature research, an empirical research was performed through a survey to verify the research model. The questionnaire was based on a research by Son, Ja-Yeong(2017) and Wi, Sam-Yeop(2014) for the perception and satisfaction of smart learning, a research by Hwang, Hye-Jeong et al(1992) for the learning attitude, and a research by Lee, Hui-Jae(2017) for the improvement of grades. After conducting a preliminary research targeting middle school students, the contents were complemented. The data was collected from July 15th to August 10th 2018, and the questionnaire was distributed through direct visit or internet. Out of the distributed 550 questionnaires, total 478 questionnaires were collected. After excluding 53 questionnaires with insincere responses, total 425 questionnaires(88.9%) were used for the analysis. The verification was performed in the significance level(p
