This study investigated the effects of academic stress, loneliness, language ability on school dropout intention by mediating self-efficacy. It also examined if there any difference in relationship of academic stress, loneliness, language ability, self-efficacy, school dropout between gender. For this purpose, data from online survey from 610 Chinese students(men: 254 and women: 356) in Korean universities was analyed with SEM analysis methods. the results were as follows. First language ability and academic stress had effect on self-efficacy. loneliness, self-efficacy had effect on school dropout intention. Second self-efficacy had a mediating effect in the relation between academic stress and school dropout intention, language ability and school dropout intention. Third the relationship of the factors on school dropout intention had a diffence by gender. For men, the motivation factor had influent while for women, the factor had influence on school dropout intention.
