This paper is a study on the eco-friendly novel printing method that improves the environmental pollution factor of the existing printing technique for plastic products. Conventional printing techniques have environmental pollution factors such as contaminating plastics using colorants and consuming additional plastics to produce labels. The eco-friendly printing method of this paper utilizes the crystallization properties of plastic, and is a new printing method that uses the crystal clear crystalline material to express opaque shapes by crystallizing only the area of a particular feature. Crystalline plastics crystallize through molecular orientation The molecules of transparent crystalline plastic are smaller than the wavelengths of visible light (550 nm to 700 nm). So it looks transparent. When the molecular is crystallized through heat, the molecule is oriented to make spherical crystal. The size of the spherical crystal is larger than the wavelength of the visible light and the transparent color is changed opaque. These crystallization characteristics are used as a printing method. The eco-friendly printing method was implemented by moving hot 3D printer nozzles on a crystalline plastic specimen surface and inducing thermal crystallization in a certain area. As a result of application to the 0.5T specimen, shape deformation due to heat. The results of application to the thicker 2.0T specimen greatly reduced the deformation and the shape was clearly printed. This paper suggested guidelines to complement it. Crystal plastic products that have undergone a elongation process during the production process may already have high crystallinity due to elongation crystallization, despite their transparent color. Therefore, products that have not undergone a elongation process are more suitable to apply the printing methods of this study. And since crystallization can only express white color, white background should be avoided to ensure print readability. In addition, the number of colors to be expressed should be reduced and the color difference to be expressed in a different way because the various colors cannot be expressed. Lastly, It is hard to fine-tuning the crystallization area, so it is necessary to simplify the shape that you want to express.
