In this study, audio-visual training and general upper limb training were applied to stroke patients to investigate their effects on brain function and motor performance through upper limb function and EEG analysis. The experimental group (audio-visual training group) performed audio-visual training for 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week for a total of 4 weeks while sitting in a wheelchair or chair, and the control group (general upper limb training group) performed independently in the same environment, excluding audio-visual training. As a result of applying audio-visual training to stroke patients in this study, there was a significant difference in upper extremity function in the experimental group in the before and after comparison between the groups. In comparison before and after audio-visual training by group, the difference in EEG changes of alpha and beta waves in the experimental group was that relative alpha waves were from the O2 electrode, and relative beta waves were Fp1, Fz, F3, F8, T4, T5, T6, Pz, P4, O2 to Significant differences were found. In comparison before and after the audio-visual training was conducted between groups, in the experimental group significant differences were found in the Fp1, Fp2, P3, P4 electrodes of relative beta waves, and in the control group significant differences were found the T3 electrode. In the comparison before and after the audio-visual training was performed by group and between groups, the difference in the changes in the EEG imaging of alpha and beta waves showed a significant difference in the beta waves in both the experimental group and the control group. Therefore, looking at the results of this study, changes in upper limb function and EEG activity in stroke patients can be confirmed through audio-visual training, suggesting the possibility of using it as a reference for improving upper limb function and EEG activity in stroke patients It is expected that continuous research will be conducted on stroke patients in the clinical field and various variables in the future.
