A screen reader function, voice over, of a smartphone, made it easier for low vision people to use a smartphone. However, the discomfort of low vision people in terms of accessibility has not been resolved. This study was conducted to suggest alternatives that can increase information accessibility for low vision people. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the limitations of existing application functions for low vision people and to improve the accessibility of mobile web search for low-visibility people, including the elderly. In order to improve web accessibility for low vision people using mobile applications, reading units of screen reader were adjusted for each HTML tag. In addition, high contrast colors are used to increase web accessibility for low vision people. We propose a summary read function that reads the context by selecting high contrast colors mapped with tags, and suggest an application prototype that describes the image with alternative text generation through image captioning for image search results.
