Methods: Data of 2,000 adults aged ≥19 years from the 2021 Daejeon Citizens' Health Survey were used, and multivariate logistic regression analyses were conducted to examine factors associated with Problem drinking during the COVID-19 period. Results: Among individual characteristics, older age (50-64: OR=0.41; CI=0.22-0.77, ≥ 65: OR=0.18; CI=0.07-0.47), marital status (OR=2.12; CI=1.18-3.80), lowest income level (OR=2.59; CI=1.02-6.54), and economic activity status (OR=0.63; CI=0.42-0.96) were associated with Problem drinking during the COVID-19. Anxiety caused by COVID-19 (OR=1.09; CI=1.01-1.17) was the health-related effective factor related to Problem drinking. Moreover, meetings with family, friends, and acquaintances (OR=0.58; CI=0.40-0.84) were associated with Problem drinking. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to reduce problem drinking by establishing an economic support, psychological support, and social support system for the problem drinking risk group.
(50-64: OR(Odds Ratio)=0.41; CI(Confidence Interval)=0.22-0.77, ≥ 65: OR=0.18; CI=0.07-0.47), 혼인상태(OR=2.12; CI=1.18-3.80), 낮은 소득수준(OR=2.59; CI=1.02-6.54), 경제활동 상태(OR=0.63; CI=0.42-0.96)가 코로나19 시기 문제음주에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.
