In this paper, we propose a mechanism that can transport objects by active shape adaptation and shape retention. The mechanism is a wire-driven link mechanism driven by three wires. The mechanism uses the principle of one-dimensional jamming to maintain the shape of the object and generates a frictional force to hold the object's posture. The frictional force can be further increased by using the double force effect. The toggle mechanism is built into the link portion of the mechanism. When the mechanism adapts to the shape of the object and maintains its posture, the toggle mechanism is used to generate a doubling force to maintain the posture.
