In this paper, we report on the results of the qualitative research methods seminar, which was held as part of the project to provide a place to learn from each other and a guideline for qualitative research and analysis for those who would like to engage in qualitative research in the field of higher education based on the results of a questionnaire survey. The effectiveness of the seminar was revealed in terms of the differences in the research experience of the participants, and the issues that need to be improved in planning and running the seminar were clarified, providing suggestions for future activities.
