This paper describes the development of a fixing device of dry micro-needle electrodes to a human head. Conventional wet flat electrodes mandate to grind the stratum corneum and apply the electric conductive gel to obtain high-quality EEG. We developed a candle-like micro-needle electrode (CME), which can eliminate these preparations. Currently, we fix CME to a human head with an elastic band. However, this fixing method causes unstable contact between the head and electrodes, pain to subjects, and labor of preparation. Therefore, the fixing device of CME is demanded that enables high-quality EEG measurement, does not give pain to the subjects, and is easy in use. We newly developed a fixing device of CME to the heads, which successfully allows CME to measure high-quality EEG.
