We have developed a nano vibration cell stimulus device for a study of nano vibration effects on cell functions. The device is consisted of a vibration driving part and a culture dish setting. The vibration driving part supports the culture dish setting at one side and the other side of the setting is the free end. A piezoelectric actuator is in the vibration driving part and, by transporting its vibration, the culture dish setting vibrates horizontally. We have analyzed the details of the vibration characteristics of the device with an FFT analyzer. From this study, we found out that the vibration characteristics at the vibration driving part side and at the free end of the culture dish setting were different, and the culture dish setting was vibrating in X, Y and Z directions. The culture dish setting behavior was complicated than we expected. Also, we found out that vibration amplitude of the culture dish setting at the free end reduced dramatically at the frequency of 400 Hz which was the resonance frequency at Z direction.
