The study was conducted to lay the foundation for preparing strategies for improving their pain management knowledge and attitude by analyzing the pain management knowledge and attitude of nursing students at graduation. The subject of the study was a fourth-year student at a nursing college, and data were collected in December, the time of graduation in 2021. For the data, through a structured questionnaire, the knowledge and attitude of pain management, demographic and major-related characteristics were investigated. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0. As a result of the study, the pain management knowledge and attitude score of nursing students at graduation was about 67.6 points out of 100.Students who completed hospice nursing courses showed higher levels (t=4.321, p<.001). Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that it is necessary to develop and apply major-related subjects or expand educational content to increase the level of knowledge and attitude toward pain management.
