According to statistics released by the National Police Agency, from 2013 to 2016, the number of missing children has not decreased in spite of various government policies. In particular, out of a total of 38,281 children, including missing children, who were born in 2016, 72 people can not even grasp the material and can not exclude the crime linkage at all. This is the threat of crime due to disappearance around us. In addition, some studies have found that when a child is exposed to crime due to disappearance, socioeconomic costs are enormous and the cost of a missing child is about 570 million won. The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual situation of disappearing cases in order to strengthen the police. As a result of the analysis, the National Police Agency has expanded the scope of missing children, operated a missing child management system and dedicated homepage, expanded gene analysis and 3D montage technique, enforced pre-registration system such as fingerprint, Alarm system, "but it was found that there were operational problems. Therefore, in order to improve the police response to the disappearance incident, this study suggested the following measures. First, it is necessary to find ways to increase the registration of the pre-fingerprint for patients with dementia. Second, there is a need to make a countermeasure against misuse of Internet access records. Third, information sharing between missing persons profiling system and related institutional systems should be expanded. Fourth, it is mandatory to compulsory companionship at specific places and time. Fifth, the police system should be established for early detection of missing persons. Sixth, the program development and the immunity measure should be prepared for the specific risk assessment.
