In this study, the resort wears are empirically analyzed which were unveiled in the collections in Paris, Milano, London, and New York- the world's 4 fashion centers representing the substantive fashion trends-. There are 2 methods of research in this study. One is theoretical method by considering the concept of resort wears, fashion brands and colors on the basis of the advanced researches and relevant documents. The other is empirical method in which the color analysis of 277 colorimetric pieces from 358 pieces of photos -from the collection of S/S season for the latest 6 years(2010-2015)- was performed through NCS(Natural Color System). The result of the analysis is as follows. First, according to the analysis that is presented in the world's 4 fashion collections, the colors are intensively concentrated in area RB and YR with R-axis as the center and the tones are intensively concentrated in area 4-Deep chromatic tone area- and are comparatively highly concentrated in area 1-Toned light Grey tone area- and in area 3-Brilliant tone area-. Secondly, in the frequency of color uses revealed in the whole 6 years, the order is series B, series R, series Y, series N and series G. While series B and series R are expressed as high frequency of uses every year, series G shows the long-term continuous trend of low frequency. Finally, 13 colors -the representative colors of resort wears that are drawn in analytic way- are selected and presented in this study.
