he purpose of this study is to derive major characteristics and trends through empirical analysis of the Head of State terrorism cases that have occurred in 98 countries around the world over the past 50 years. In particular, if you look at recent terrorist incidents in common, it is necessary to confirm the pattern of change as they are evolving, such as the ambiguity of the terrorist.. Despite these changes in the tendency and trend of the Head of State terrorism, prior studies related to the Head of State terrorism are still insufficient and are limited to fragmentary case analysis at most qualitative levels. Therefore, it is worth constructing and examining data that can grasp the trend of the Head of State terrorism patterns from a new perspective by region around the world. As a result of the analysis, four aspects of terrorist tendencies were identified. First, the Middle East, which had relatively high security and counter-terrorism capabilities by country, had a relatively high incidence until the 1990s, but the Middle East surged with 9.11 terrorist organizations. Finally, in terms of attack types and casualties, mass destruction attacks mainly occurred in the Middle East, while assassination types mainly occurred in the West to remove only certain selected factors.
