The purpose of this study is to develop integrative STEM invention education program model of chemical area, applicable to educational site by developing invention education program model based on integrated STEM. Towards this goal, the conceptual model for development of integrative STEM invention education program was constructed by reviewing documentary records, thereby contributing to developing integrative STEM invention education program of chemical area. Major research contents are as follows Considering interdisciplinary characteristic of invention education, the model of integrative STEM invention education program centering on curriculum integration theory was suggested. For development of education program, the integrated STEM invention education program model was developed based on the education goal-oriented model of Tyler(1949) and problem solving model of Choi, Yu-hyun(1995a, 1995b, 2004) in accordance with development process of Tyler. As a result of verification on the validity by experts, it was confirmed that the validity of the model is high since the average of model was M=4.42 in 5-point Likert scale and 0.89 which is higher than 0.49, a minimum value of CVR was measured in 95% confidence level. In addition, it was verified that the integrated STEM invention education program of chemical area is very valid as a result of verification on the validity by experts (CVR value 0.94, M=4.48). The content system of this program was designed in the following order: understanding STEM invention education program task, previous learning activities based on science, technology, engineering and mathematics(STEM), design for task solving, selecting and confirming material for task solving, invention problem solving activities, error checking and non-action part solving, feedback and evaluation on inventions. As developed invention education program of chemical area, the invention task program titled, “ Making objects operated by battery of my own" was presented.
