This study indicates how sponsorship affects professional badminton players’ satisfaction in their lives and to their team, targeting on 203 of the professional badminton players in Korea. Based on the study, I come to the following conclusion; First, the professional badminton players are generally satisfied with the sponsorship provided by their team. Second, it has been proved that the sponsorship provided by their team has a positive impact on their satisfaction to their team. Third, their satisfaction in their lives also leads to positive effect to their satisfaction to their team and the sponsorship provided through their team increases the players’ satisfaction in their lives and to their team. In the case of the players in Korea, it is shown that a large scale of sponsorship by a corporate in Korea also lets them have a financial stabilities and recognized for their abilities as a professional player. It not only leads to letting them have a satisfaction with their team as a professional player, but has a positive effect on giving the corporate an opportunity to enhance a sponsoring image of the corporate and to promote its product-sales. From the results of this study, I conclude that the sponsorship would be a way to be a win-win strategy to the players and the corporate because it can make the players get a satisfaction in their financial stabilities and can be a way for the corporate to have an opportunity to enhance its image and promote its product sales.
