This study was intended to provide basic data to identify potential risk factors through the flow of the domestic Taekwondo industry in a rapidly changing society, and discuss management plans that can be overcome and the possibility of sustainable Taekwondo growth. I conducted the study based on literature research in order to achieve the purpose of this study and investigated the characteristics of the Taekwondo industry, domestic Taekwondo education, and Taekwondo management through interviews with 15 field managers. Changes in educational value, consumption method, governance structure, and population structure are potential risk factors affecting Taekwondo gym management shown through interviews with field managers. Based on this, the following conclusions were reached on the sustainable Taekwondo studio management plan by synthesizing discussions with a group of experts. First, it is necessary to revive the original value of Taekwondo and meet the demand for personality education through program reform focusing on mental training and personality development. Second, it is necessary to take various measures such as the development and use of applications dedicated to Taekwondo studio operators and trainees, and the introduction of 4th industrial revolution technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality to prevent the Taekwondo studio from surviving in the face of another pandemic. Third, Taekwondo gym managers will need to improve their governance structure so that employees can participate in continuous value creation, and a more realistic vision needs to be presented. Fourth, Taekwondo gym managers should actively expand the range of Taekwondo gym trainees to teenagers, college students, and even middle-aged people.
