This study was conducted to examine the mediating effect of the service value on the relationship between Taekwondo gym selection quality and gym satisfaction. To this end, it administered questionnaires to 384 trainees and their parents, who play important roles in selecting Taekwondo gyms. The findings are as follows: First, there were partially positive correlations among the Taekwondo gym selection quality, the gym satisfaction and the service value. Second, the selection motivation among the Taekwondo gym selection quality had a positive effect on all sub-variables of the program satisfaction and the location satisfaction. The quality service has a positive effect on the gym satisfaction. The gym publicity had a positive effect on coach satisfaction, facility satisfaction and the location satisfaction. The member management had a positive effect on the coach satisfaction and the facility satisfaction. Third, the Taekwondo gym selection quality had a positive effect on the service value. Fourth, the Taekwondo gym selection quality did not only have a positive effect on the gym satisfaction, but also had an indirect effect on the gym satisfaction via the service value.
