This research was conducted via survey on students enrolled in the Continuing Education at a university located in Seoul. The topics under analysis were the green value of consumer, prior knowledge on the implementation of carbon record dating, the green efficacy factors having comparative influence on the awareness of carbon record dating products and the entailing consumer patterns. The findings are epitomized as below. First, the green value of consumers on par with the unique characteristics of census is found to be attentively related to the statistics relating to the age group and marriage status. The level of green value was discovered to be higher with older age group, and the forties and fifties made a sharp contrast from the twenties. In relation to the marriage status, the married couples reported higher level of green value. As for the awareness of carbon record dating protocols on par with unique characteristics of census report, housewives tended to display higher awareness than the graduate and undergraduate students. In relation to the green efficacy, fifties reported higher figures than the twenties and thirties. Second, the presence of awareness of carbon record dating protocols on par with census reports, green value, corresponding knowledge, and the influence of green efficacy were found to be higher as the educational background becomes more extensive. Both undergraduate and graduate students among diverse factors and the knowledge about carbon record dating protocols were key determinants to predict the presence of awareness of carbon record dating protocols. In case of undergraduate and graduate students, the possibility of the awareness of carbon record dating protocols would be decreased by 69%, and as the level of knowledge on the carbon record dating protocol leaps a grade, the possibility of awareness for carbon record dating protocol increased by the multiple of 1.31. Third, there was no attentive mutation or unexpected variables arising from the difference of influence between independent variables according to the presence of intention to purchase. Through this study, it is plain to see that the level of knowledge on carbon record dating protocols leave influence on the increase of awareness. In delivering the knowledge on carbon record dating protocols, appropriate educational programs and marketing mediums are required to continuously provide objective and trustworthy information with consideration to the unique features of population census. As such, more active education and marketing activities on the part of public, private, and consumer groups must be made in order to establish green culture society while raising the level of knowledge of consumers and delivering of motivation for the worth of green spending.
