This study analyzed the equal opportunity admission students’ college achievement and the factors which affect to their dropout possibility. For this study, GPA, extra activity scores, and the household income distribution data from 716 students of an equal opportunity admission and 716 students of other admissions were collected. And 310 equal opportunity admission students answered the survey questionnaire. All data were collected from J university at Jeonbuk province in Korea. The results of the analysis shows (1) GPA, extra activity scores, and the household income distribution of the equal opportunity admission students are lower than other admission students’. (2) A low major-perception level group has low possibility of college dropouts. (3) The self-directed ability, major-orientation, and major-satisfaction levels affect to the possibility of college dropouts negatively. The result implies as follows: first, the practical and real orientation programs to understand their major are helpful to the students of the equal opportunity admission. Second, universities need to provide the learning enhancement programs and encourage to participate to extracurricular activities. Third, these all supports should be served through their major. Because their major understanding and its satisfaction affect to the possibility of college dropout.
