The purpose of this study is to provide meaningful basic data on the preparation of performance improvement strategies tailored to their characteristics by identifying the in-depth relationship between Taekwondo-breaking athletes' achievement goal propensity and performance, focusing on the moderating effect of positive psychological capital. In order to achieve this purpose, the moderating effect of positive psychological capital on the relationship between achievement goal orientation and performance(perceived performance) of Taekwondo-breaking athletes was verified through PROCESS macro model 1 (Hayes, 2022). This research confirmed the moderating effect - reinforcing aspect - of the positive psychological capital, or hope, in the relationship between the task inclination and performance competency of Taekwondo-breaking players and then stressed the importance and necessity of useful leadership of Taekwondo-breaking instructors based on the unique characteristics of an individual or team according to the verification results and importance of leadership toward positive psychological capital.
