The purpose of this study is to see the difference in anti-doping knowledge of athletes who received anti-doping education and those who did not. Subjects were asked to fill out a survey that contains material from KADA education. Out of the 1052 Korea shooters who have participated in the Bonghwangi National Shooting Championship, 864 shooters have participated in the survey. The results showed that only 55% received the anti-doping education and although the knowledge level of basic doping did not much differ between athletes who received anti-doping education and those who did not, and out of the athletes who received the education, 53.2% researched anti-doping materials on their own, and only 24% of athletes who did not receive the education researched anti-doping materials. Athletes who received the anti-doping education showed higher interest in anti-doping materials. However, regardless of the presence or absence of anti-doping education, more than 70% of the respondents had the dangerous perceptions that they could take anything to improve their performance. Through this study, the participation and recognition of anti-doping education amongst shooting athletes is clarified and presents the current view and future direction of anti-doping.
