This study aimed to identify urban factors that affect the use of public transportation of the disabled. The analysis focused on 424 administrative districts in Seoul in 2022 to conduct spatial regression analysis utilizing transportation card data. The results of this study are as follows. First, concerning socio-economic factors, the numbers of businesses and household income showed positive correlations with the trip of the disabled. Second, concerning spatial characteristics, the floor areas of hospitals and office facilities showed positive correlations with the trip of the disabled. Yet, the floor areas of residence and religion showed negative correlations with the trip of the disabled. Third, concerning transportation characteristics, subway accessibility showed a positive correlation with trip of the disabled. Yet, ratio of roads and parking areas showed negative correlations with trip of the disabled. The advantage of using transportation card data is that it can provide insights into the trip patterns of the disabled using public transportation. However, it has limitations as it cannot capture the overall trip patterns. Therefore, it is necessary to compare the results of this study with analysis using the latest Household Travel Survey data when it becomes available.
