This article proposes a 2-D beam scanning broadband reflectarray antenna with low thickness of liquid crystal (LC) which is 10 μm and uses delay lines to deal with the narrowband problem. The designed planar reflectarray unit can achieve a phase shift of more than 360°, and the maximum reflection loss is 2.6 dB in 30 GHz. Besides, a 16 × 16 reflectarray antenna is designed and realize 2-D beam scanning. And the maximum antenna gain is more than 20 dB. The main beam direction can achieve 2-D phase scanning and the maximum beam steerable angle range is ±50°.
