We summarize the latest research progresses applying machine learning in VLC systems. 2.7Gbit/s CAP64 VLC transmission based on a high-power 1-Watt phosphorescent white LED over 1.2m-free-space is demonstrated. As far as we know, this is the highest data rate using a high-power phosphorescent white LED.
