Based on the m-sequence on finite field GF(2), a novel clock-controlled generator (NCCG) has been proposed by combining the shrinking generator and the self-shrinking generator. Theoretical analysis results show that the new clock-controlled sequence (NCCS) with large period and high linear complexity. The image digital watermarking algorithm (including embedding and extracting) would be developed in terms of NCCS. The final statistic analysis indicates that the signal and noise ratio (SNR) of watermarked image is high enough.
