The design and operation of DC grounding electrodes and the assessment of their adverse effects on the surrounding environment bring considerable difficulties and uncertainties in their realization. The technical characteristics of five geologic exploration methods applied to fine geodetic electrical exploration are first compared, and the linear filtering considering depth of burial and the transmission line model has been proposed to solve the problem of high theoretical difficulty and complicated algorithm in solving the fine earth model of the horizontal layered DC grounding pole.
