The power and precision of a hydraulic press make it a staple in industries ranging from metalworking to leather clicking. Thus, this paper presents a model of each component in the hydraulic press. This model is implemented by bond graph modeling technique. It is a powerful technique in modeling multidomain system such as the hydraulic press which has electrical, mechanical and hydraulic domains. Simulation analyses is done by the mean of the simulation tool in 20-Sim software in order to study the hydraulic press performance under different loading conditions, different inputs, different fluids and different system specifications such as pipe dimensions. A prototype for the system was implemented and tested in order to verify the simulation results and prove the accurate modeling of the hydraulic press machine.
