An ultra-wideband absorber with good angular stability is proposed in this paper. The absorber consists of two lossy layers and a metallic ground. The first lossy layer produces absorption bands around f 0 and 3f 0 , whereas the metallic ground produces a reflection band around 2f 0 due to the infinite impedance of the interdigital resonator. The fundamental absorption mode of the second layer is designed to absorb the reflection of the first layer around 2f 0 . The thickness of absorber is around λ/2. Finally, the proposed absorber produces an ultra-wide absorption band from 2.6 to 13.0 GHz with a fractional bandwidth of 133% under the normal incidence.
