A leaky-wave antenna(LWA) with SSPP-SIW structure features beam steering continuously from the second to the first quadrant is proposed. The sinusoidal modulation on the length of SSPP structure helps radiate the EM energy and thus exert the function of the LWA. The sinusoidal modulated slot etched on the bottom surface of SIW is used to break the symmetry of the structure and excite the fast wave, which makes the ability of continuously beam steering. The operation frequency band of the antenna is 14.8GHz~16.3GHz, in which the gain varies from 4.56dB to 7.78dB. And the steering angle range is -18°~58°, which means 76°in total.
