Evaporative cooling technology is an effective cooling method with high reliability and economic performance. Based on the experimental and theoretical analysis for equivalent model in previous researches, a real size of 30MW turbo generator stator bars model was designed and established. The stator coil internal evaporative cooling capacity and characteristic at different heat loads and different coolant flow were analyzed in this paper. At the same time, experimental results verifies the circulation system rationality and reliability under fault conditions, such as the circulation pump is out of service suddenly or cooling water is cut off in the condenser.
