In order to improve the fault detection sensitivity and the robustness to interference, the problem of unknown input disturbance is proposed. A design method based on H_/L ∞ fault detection observer is proposed for peak bounded signals. Using the H_ index and the L ∞ norm to maximize the sensitivity to fault detection while ensuring the robustness of the residual to unknown interference. At the same time, the corresponding residual evaluation and threshold generation methods are proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the fault observer is verified by simulation.
