In order to prevent the positive feeder of the catenary in the windy section of the Lanzhou-Urumqi high speed railway from dancing violently in windy weather, a fixed clamp suitable for the positive feeder is proposed. The finite element model was established with the positive feeder as the research object, and the self-weight load of the conductor and the aerodynamic load under different wind speeds were applied, and the dancing response of the conductor under the overhang clamp and fixed clamp was comparatively analyzed. The results show that when the wind speed is greater than 10m/s, the fixed clamp has an obvious effect on the horizontal dance peak, and the peak value is reduced by 56.67%. The suppression effect of fixed clips on the vertical dance peak was less than that in the horizontal direction, and the peak value was reduced by 51.30%. After installing the fixed clip, the amplitude of the horizontal direction of the wire is significantly suppressed, which proves that the fixed clamp can effectively suppress the dancing of the positive feeder.
