Timing mismatches seriously affect the dynamic performance of the time-interleaved analog-to-digital converters (TI-ADCs) system. This paper proposes a correlation-based calibration method for timing mismatches in M-channel TI-ADCs, which adopts the statistic characteristic of the sub-channels to estimate the time deviations. The mismatch parameter is identified by assuming the wide sense stationary of the input signal. The output signal is calibrated by reducing the arbitrary order distortion which is approximated by multiplying the distortions and the estimated mismatch coefficients. Finally, simulation results illustrate the improvement of dynamic performance and the advantage to the first-order based method.
