This paper proposes an accurate current scaling circuit which is suitable for OLED or LED microdisplay driving circuit. By adding extra compensated transistor and bias circuit, current mirror transistors’ drain-source voltage (V DS ) are almost equal when the new current scaling circuit copy the current to pixel circuit. Simulation results show the deviation error of current scaling ratio in proposed circuit ranges from -0.067% to 0.008% while the deviation error ranges from -9.11% to -1.11% in conventional current-mirror circuit. More accurate current scaling ratio will be benefits for improving the uniformity of the microdisplay’s luminance.
