In power systems, ultra-high-speed transient-based protection may be interfered by high-frequency signal emitted by high-frequency power line carrier. This paper carried out many simulation tests for different positions and different types of fault. These tests were based on the frequency spectrum analysis of high-frequency signal and faulty signal. Meanwhile, research on the reliability of transient-based protection under the interference of high frequency signal was performed.
