With the gradual increase of the penetration rate of distributed power generation and the deepening of power terminal sinking, the control and information transmission of distribution network become more complex. The “self-healing” of the distribution network puts forward more stringent requirements on the delay, security, reliability and other aspects of the communication system. 5G network has the advantages of ultra-high bandwidth, ultra-low latency, and ultra-large connection. These features effectively match the communication requirements of distribution network automation under the construction of new power system. This paper introduces 5G short slice technology. The self-healing distribution network automation communication scheme integrating 5G short slice communication private network is proposed. The communication structure is designed. The advantages and characteristics of the scheme are analyzed. Taking the self-healing distribution network automation transformation integrating 5G short slice technology in a domestic power grid as an example, this paper introduces its networking scheme, which provides a valuable reference path for the distribution network to realize real “self-healing” under the construction of new power system.
