It is necessary to configure the stability control measures of centralized load shedding for the multi-DC fed large receiving-end power grid. The controllable load scale and time-space distribution have a profound influence on the system frequency recovery. This paper analyzes the dynamic process of the system after power disturbance and influence factors of system frequency characteristics. Aiming at the frequency drop characteristics of East China Power Grid after high active power failure, the effects of millisecond, second and minute load control techniques on frequency recovery are studied. The effects of load shedding scale and time-space distribution on frequency stability control are presented. This research provides reference for UHVDC fault disposal system based on interruptible load.
