Function-as-a-service provides developers with numerous strengths and thus has garnered wide attention. Traditional caching strategy in FaaS context leverages locality to improve hit rate while leading to severe load unbalance due to the overlook of package dependency relationship and request rate skew. The quality of service still remains unsatisfactory. For tackling this problem, we exploit the aggregation structure in FaaS function packages and propose a Community-Detection-based Package-Aware load balancing algorithm. The simulation result demonstrates a good performance on package hit rate and load balance.
