Frequency agility technology is developing rapidly in recent years, and signal generation modules are key components in frequency agility test system. A V-band agile mixing module with high purity signal is presented in this paper. Principles, design, simulation, fabrication of source module are described in detail. Input signals of the agile module are 4GHz, 8GHz and 16GHz, and after several times of signal processing, 52GHz-68GHz agile signals with step of 4GHz are output. Parallel coupling line band-pass filters are designed to suppress harmonics and non-harmonics to obtain pure signal; coupling detection circuit are designed to realize power detection. Test results show that non-harmonic parasitism is better than -76dBc and output power is between 0.15dBm and 1.5dBm; frequency switching speed is less than 40ns. The mixing module has the characteristics of fast frequency switching, high output frequency and high reliability. The module has been successfully applied to frequency agility test instrument.
