Extreme weather events (EWEs) bring great challenges to the safe operation of power distribution system (PDS). Pre-disaster preparation and post-disaster restoration can effectively reduce the outage loss and improve PDS resilience. In addition, with the continuous development of integrated energy system, the tight coupling of PDS, natural gas system (NGS), and heating system (HS) has provided a new way for improving PDS resilience. This paper first introduces pre-disaster preparation, post-disaster restoration, and pre- and post-disaster coordinated optimization strategies for resilient PDS. Then, the research status of integrated energy system resilience enhancement strategies is summarized. Finally, the prospect of resilient PDS is proposed.
