Hospital is a crowded place, especially full of patients, where the influenza virus, such as COVID-19, can be easier to spread. In order to improve the efficiency of virus disinfection in the hospital, a virus disinfection robot based on the wheeled mobile car and ROS system is proposed in this paper. The proposed disinfection robot scans the corridor of the hospital by laser radar and then builds up the map of the whole environment. And path planning is carried out based on the established map so that effective passage can be realized. Then the virus disinfection is put into effect at the planed point of the building with the ultraviolet lamp. Finally, there is a simulation that shows out the effective of the path planning method, based on which the proposed disinfection robot can be used for virus disinfection in hospitals.
