A neural model of microwave slot antenna on a flat metal grounded plate based on MultiLayer Perceptron network (MLP) is described here. The presented model is a part of the software package called PMWA ANN Design which is developed for design of a well-matched planar microwave antenna. This software allows for fast estimation of the flat metal grounded plate and slot dimensions for desired central frequency of the microwave slot antenna to make the antenna well-matched to the feed line. The current version of this software allows for design of antenna matched to 50 Ω feed line in S and C frequency bands.
