The pulse inductor is one of the important components of the inductor cabinet in the quench protection system of the China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor (CFETR). In this paper, the shielding research on the pulse magnetic field of the inductor is carried out. Under extreme working conditions, the high-intensity magnetic field can generate electric sparks on the surface of the cabinet and has an adverse influence on the other internal equipment. The influence of different materials and sizes on the shielding effect is compared, and a feasible design scheme according to the limit of the actual cabinet is proposed. The new shielding device can effectively reduce the magnetic induction around the inductor.
