Generation of electricity by solar energy is gaining importance now-a-days. PV cells are modelled as circuits. For PV cells, accurate and reliable circuit model parameters should be found out. This is necessary for evaluation of performance, efficiency calculations, control and extracting maximum power from solar photovoltaic system.
