Electric vehicle (EV) adoption in India has expanded significantly in recent years, owing to government initiatives, improved consumer awareness, and advancements in technology. This study presents an in-depth overview of India’s current EV surroundings, including industry developments, customer behavior, and regulatory laws. The study utilizes both primary and secondary data sources to examine the challenges faced by the Indian EV industry and assesses the potential for future growth. Finding suggest that while progress has been made, the infrastructure and supply chain issues still need to be addressed to ensure the widespread adoption of Electric vehicles (EVs) in India. The analysis concludes with recommendations for stakeholders to overcome these obstacles and create a more favorable climate for the expansion of India’s EV sector.
