The measurement of exposure to workplace vibration is important for employee health prevention. This exposure can come through use of powered-hand tools or hand-transmitted vibration (HTV). Workers can also be exposed to whole body vibration (WBV) by driving vehicles. With reference to the assessment of the risks deriving from the exposure of workers to vibrations (Title VIII - Chapter III of Italian Legislative Decree 81/08), this paper intends to briefly illustrate the methodology followed in the typical work situation of an italian transport company.
