People spent a lot of time in English learning. Despite their plethora work in English learning, traditional English learners have yet to evaluate their English language proficiency quickly and accurately. This paper tackles this problem by proposing a novel approach for assessing one's English proficiency which utilizes his/her eye tracking data while watching the English videos with English subtitles. Using random forest, our approach provides standalone English proficiency scores based on eye tracking, which even can be demonstrated to predict one's CET-4 score. Our approach provides a new idea for accurate and efficient second language proficiency assessment.
